• A Shoe Full of Stars (Identity Crisis Project)

    A very ordinary teenager journeys into a magical world where, after a terrorist attack, nothing and everything make sense at the same time. Discover unexpected friendship, laughs, tears and a lot of singing. Created through the IDENTITY CRISIS PROJECT, "A Shoe Full of Stars" opens at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Wednesday 21 March, and the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall, York, Sunday 25 March.     Something magical is happening down the back alleys and unseen corners of London. Maxine, a poor, travelling French girl, uses boxes of light - so-called "Magic Lanterns" - to entertain people, but will the Lanterns' magic to help her escape the notices of charity do-gooders, the police and a very determined slave master?
